Cooper City · Broward County
The Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance calls Cooper City a bedroom community, and that is accurate. Its businesses are concentrated on a few main roads, and that is where a free smart cooler can work.

Where the work is
The city covers about 8.5 square miles. Its commercial land sits along four roads.
Countryside Shops, a Publix-anchored center of about 186,000 square feet, is at Stirling and Flamingo. Further along, Cooper Square at 9600 to 9660 Stirling Road opened around 2020 with restaurants and service tenants, which are usually too small for a cooler on their own.
Pine Lakes Plaza is one of the larger shopping centers on Griffin. Management offices and service tenants there are smaller sites, so headcount gets checked before anything else.
Professional offices and services line the main north-south road. The road ties Cooper City to Davie and Pembroke Pines.
On the south side of the city, Sheridan carries more retail and services, along with a few office buildings.
Who works here
The Alliance lists the Broward School Board, the City of Cooper City, Integrated Medical Center, Publix and Walmart as major employers. City Hall is at 9090 SW 50th Place. That list makes it clear what kind of page this is. We are not claiming a business district that does not exist. If you manage one of the offices that do have a full staff, we would like to hear from you.
Cooper City FAQ
Businesses that have people on site all day: medical and professional offices, school and city administration, and the management and back offices at the shopping centers. Most homes and apartments are not a fit, since we serve workplaces.
Roughly 60 or more working there on a regular weekday. Smaller offices can still ask, and we will tell you honestly whether it works.
Sometimes. If several practices share one break room, together they may reach the headcount. The first conversation is with whoever manages the building.
Nothing to install, stock or service. Your team pays for what they take, the same way they would at a store.
A typical fit
Imagine a two-story professional building on Stirling Road with a dental group, a physical therapy practice and an insurance office sharing one break room. No single tenant has 60 people, but together they might. In a case like that, the building's owner or manager makes the decision, because they control the common area. We would ask how many people use the room on a weekday and whether there is an outlet near a wall where a fridge-sized cooler can sit.
Flamingo Road links Cooper City to Davie and Pembroke Pines, so many people who work here commute from those cities. A sandwich or protein shake in the building means they do not have to drive out to Flamingo at noon.
