What the city looks like

Why lunch takes a car trip in Pembroke Pines.

The city says it has more than 10 million square feet of commercial development across 34 square miles, and most of it is along the Pines Boulevard corridor. That is a lot of places to eat, spread over a lot of road.

Retail is everywhere and so is trafficPembroke Lakes Regional Mall and the Shops at Pembroke Gardens are both here. Plenty of food is nearby, but you still have to drive to it and find parking.
Office buildings near I-75The city points to the Pembroke Pointe office buildings on SW 145th Avenue, just south of Pines Boulevard. Offices that are easy to reach by car are often not close to a quick lunch, which is where a cooler in the break room helps.
Industrial and flex space in the northwestThe city's industrial parks are mostly in the northwest corner, near US 27 and I-75. They include Bergeron Park of Commerce and Industry, at 196th Avenue and Sheridan Street, and the Chapel Trail business parks. If your building has a front office and a warehouse behind it, one break-room cooler can serve both.
Hospital-area officesTwo Memorial Healthcare System hospitals are in the city, and the medical offices around them are ordinary office buildings. They can ask us like any other office.
A big employer baseThe Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance lists Memorial Healthcare System, the Broward County School Board and the city itself among Pembroke Pines' major employers.

Getting the details right

What to know before you ask in Pembroke Pines.

Leased buildings

Many office buildings in the city are multi-tenant, so your landlord or property manager has a say in where a cooler goes. Tell us who that is and we make the first call.

Combined headcount

At a building with a front office and a warehouse behind it, we count everyone who uses the break room. A company with ten desks and forty people on the floor may still be a fit.

Your own hours

Pembroke Pines is a spread-out city and not every workplace runs nine to five. A cooler is open when your building is, so the early arrival and the late finisher are covered.
