Where are Lauderdale Lakes' workplaces?
Most of them are on two roads. The city covers about 4 square miles, centered where US 441, also called State Road 7, crosses Oakland Park Boulevard. The CRA's Development Assistance Program focuses on those same two corridors.
We are a medical office near Florida Medical Center. Do you work with practices like ours?
Possibly. Florida Medical Center, a 459-bed hospital, is at 5000 West Oakland Park Boulevard, and practices and administrative offices cluster nearby. What matters is how many people work in your building.
Who are the bigger employers?
The Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance lists Florida Medical Center, Florida Career College, BankUnited, Bank of America, Chase and a Walmart Supercenter. We name them only to describe the area. They are not our clients.
Can a school's staff office have one?
An administrative or staff area with enough people can ask. We don't place coolers in student areas.
What about the bank branches?
A single branch is usually too small. A regional or operations office with more staff is a better fit.
Is there anything in the town center?
The city's Educational and Cultural Center, which includes the library, is at 3580 West Oakland Park Boulevard and opened in 2009. Public buildings like that are managed by the city, so the city would decide.
What would the cooler carry?
Items from our product list: sandwiches and snack plates, protein bars and shakes, jerky, chips and candy, with cold drinks to go with them. We tune the mix to what your team buys.
How much space does it need?
About the footprint of a full-size fridge, plus a standard outlet. Most break rooms have the room.
Do you put coffee machines in?
No. We focus on food, snacks and cold drinks.
